Reiki is an ancient Asian energy technique which has its origins in Tibet and Japan. It is primarily used to balance, align, and harmonize the human energy fields of the aura and the chakras. This leads to relaxation, stress reduction, and increased feelings of vitality and awareness. Reiki functions on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Reiki is a complement to conventional medicine as well as to chiropractic, massage, craniosacral, homeopathic, and herbal treatments. It has also been found to be beneficial in Hospice environments.
Reiki uses a combination light touch and elevated hand techniques. The client can either be in a reclining or seated position and is fully clothed although the removal of shoes is recommended.
Aranga is trained in both Western and Japanese as well as in Tibetan Reiki techniques. She also holds advanced degrees in biological sciences and education. In addition she is an inner-dimensional artist.
